RUR is state accredited in the sphere of private copying
On 24th September 2010 Rosohrankultura (the Ministry of Culture Department) accredited RUR as the sole society to collect and distribute remuneration for the authors, performers and phonogram producers and audiovisual products for free reproduction of phonograms and audiovisual products for private purposes within the territory of the Russian Federation. It means that only the Russian Union of Right-holders has the right to act on behalf of an unlimited number of authors, performers and phonogram producers and audiovisual products, collect and distribute money to the right-owners (the order of Rosohrankultura of 24th September 2010 year №167).
